Southeastern Grocers (SEG), the parent company of North American retail chains Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarkets and Winn-Dixie, is recalling some of Fisherman’s Wharf brand of frozen cooked shrimp over potential listeria contamination.

The product, carried in frozen 16-20 count bags, was sold in all Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarkets and Winn-Dixie stores.

SEG is one of the largest conventional supermarket companies in the United States, with locations throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi.

The recall follows Thai Union's US subsidiary Chicken of the Sea's massive US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recall earlier this year for shrimp products products sold under the company's brand, as well as Albertson's, Censea, Hannaford, Open Acres, Honest Catch, Whole Foods and Meijer.
