Shipments to the United States, Europe and Asia lifted Ecuadorian shrimp exports to their second highest ever monthly total in July.

Global exports totaling nearly 163 million pounds were 4 million pounds shy of the previous record set in April.

At $2.82 (€2.40) per pound, prices for Ecuadorian shrimp were at their highest level since August 2018.
