Stretched supply chains continue to be vulnerable to disruptions in the wake of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

That's the view of Thue Barfod, the global head of leading container shipping firm Maersk Line's fish and seafood cargo division, who spoke at the International Marine Ingredients Organisation's (IFFO) 60th annual conference last week.

Barfod echoed the words of Financial Times Economics Editor Chris Giles, who in a keynote speech earlier at the same event said Chinese port troubles have eased, but its zero tolerance COVID policy still threatens trade.
