Norwegian land-based salmon farmer Andfjord said it does not expect to suffer the same technical issues that caused the loss of 227,000 fish at Atlantic Sapphire's Danish operations because it uses a completely different production system design.

CFO Helge Krogenes cited this as a main reason for the company's share price remaining unmoved from Friday to Monday, a period during which Atlantic Sapphire's stock took a battering, plunging 20 percent.
