UK salmon farming startup Organic Sea Harvest (OSH) has lost its appeal to build a fish farming site in Skye.

The salmon startup company was originally denied permission for the site in Balmaqueen during a Highland Council North Planning Committee meeting on Jan. 26.

In April, the company launched an official appeal against the decision.

The planning committee in its January denial of the permit said the farm would negatively impact localized views in a portion of northeast Skye.
