The Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice (DOJ) in the United States is no longer investigating Norwegian salmon farmers Mowi, Grieg Seafood, SalMar, and Leroy over allegations of price collusion first initiated in November 2019, the companies announced on Wednesday.

"Mowi has all along been adamant that the price collusion allegations have clearly lacked merit and are entirely unsubstantiated," the company said in a statement.

The DOJ has also informed Grieg Seafood, SalMar and Leroy that the investigation is closed.
