Mowi CEO Ivan Vindheim is predicting the company will continue to break earnings records as the salmon market goes from strength to strength.
The second quarter stands as the strongest quarter ever for Mowi, Vindheim said as he unveiled results on Wednesday morning.
Mowi reported a more than doubling in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) to €363.1 million ($361.3 million), despite a 5 percent drop in harvest volumes to 102,679 metric tons in the second quarter of 2022.
