A group of salmon farming industry activists are calling on coastal communities to join in a demonstration in Oslo on Nov. 24 against the Norwegian government's proposed 40 percent aquaculture tax.

Organizers Hans Stolan, a worker with Norwegian salmon farming giant SalMar, and Roald Jensen, a Mowi employee, said they are recruiting as many people as possible from communities reliant on the salmon farming industry to join the action.
