Norwegian investor Tord Ueland Kolstad -- whose holdings include land-based salmon farming project Gigante Salmon -- is moving to Switzerland, the second high net worth individual announcing his departure.
Kjell Inge Rokke, one of Norway's wealthiest individuals and a driving force behind several key seafood companies, announced Monday he would move to Switzerland.
While Rokke did not cite a proposed "wealth tax" as the reason for his departure, speculation swirled that it was behind the decision.
Banks and other non-individual taxpayers in Norway could end up paying a higher rate of wealth tax under the government's budget proposal for the next fiscal year.
