Salmones Austral's joint venture site with Nova Austral has lost all of its salmon production for 2021 following the decision to remove all fish from the Navarro 3 site.

Production was forecast at 7,000 metric tons with both companies scheduled to take 3,500 metric tons under their 50:50 joint venture deal.

The decision at the site, which borders the Magallanes and Artartic regions, was made following a recent infectious salmon anemia (ISA) outbreak.
