Norwegian salmon farmer SalMar harvested 43,600 metric tons of salmon in the fourth quarter of 2020, an 8 percent year-on-year increase, according to a trading update.

SalMar's central Norway operations harvested 20,900 metric tons, while 19,100 metric tons was pulled from pens in northern Norway. Sites in Iceland harvested 3,600 metric tons.

In the same period a year earlier the company harvested 40,300 metric tons.
