Icelandic Salmon, the holding company of the Icelandic farming company Arnarlax and a subsidiary of Salmar, has taken another step towards an additional 10,000 metric tons of maximum allowed biomass in farm licenses in Isafjaroardjup in the West Fjords of Iceland.

The licenses have been approved by the Icelandic Planning Agency, and the application now goes to the Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority and The Environment Agency of Iceland for final framework evaluation and steps towards new operating licenses.
