Linda Litlekalsoy Aase is stepping down from her position as CEO of Norwegian salmon farming giant SalMar after just six months in charge.

Aase was named the new CEO of Norwegian salmon farming giant in March, taking over the position from the company's owner Gustav Witzoe.

She officially took over as CEO in May.

Following her departure, Frode Arntsen will take over as SalMar CEO, said the group.
