The United Kingdom's Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals' (RSPCA) farm-animal welfare program, RSPCA Assured, found no evidence of poor fish welfare at Mowi's salmon farms in Scotland, following an investigation.
Earlier this month, Scottish Salmon Watch, an anti-salmon farming group, posted a series of photos and videos on its website and social media showing what it claimed are farmed salmon and sea-lice eating cleaner fish with high lice loads and deformities, as well as mortalities in netpens.
