US supermarket chain Publix said Monday it is now offering land-based salmon grown at Atlantic Sapphire's farm in Miami in all of its stores in the seven states in which it operates.

Lakeland, Florida-based Publix was one of the earliest supporters of Atlantic Sapphire salmon, and the grocer initially offered the salmon at select Florida locations late last year.

Prior to Monday's announcement, 936 Publix stores were already selling Atlantic Sapphire salmon, Publix Business Development Director for Seafood Guy Pizzuti told IntraFish.
