The offices of one of largest proposed land-based salmon farms in the United States were vandalized on Saturday night.
"When some who call themselves environmentalists resort to vandalism they have lost, but they hurt the reputation of the environmental movement, which we broadly support," Nordic Aquafarms wrote in a Facebook post showing a picture of the defaced offices.
Nordic Aquafarms President Erik Heim told IntraFish the incident had been reported to police and video footage handed over. The grafitti has been cleaned from the office and many in the community have condemned the vandalism in response to Nordic Aquafarms' Facebook post on the incident, according to Heim.
