Creditors of embattled Chilean salmon farmer Nova Austral rejected a proposed restructuring plan for the company at a long awaited meeting this weekend.

After several delays the creditors meeting was finally held on Dec. 16, however no progress was made and the salmon farmer's future is still unresolved.

While the creditors rejected the proposal as set forth in the latest reorganization agreement, they agreed on granting the company an opportunity to file a revised draft.
