Norwegian farmed salmon exports face scrutiny after sea lice found in shipments to China

The incident has triggered a Chinese risk assessment of Norwegian salmon imports.

The General Administration of Customs in China notified Norwegian authorities in early July about lice found in shipments totaling roughly 19 metric tons of whole, chilled salmon.
