Norway Royal Salmon completes acquisition of SalmoNor from NTS paving way for SalMar merger

Norway Royal Salmon completed the acquisition of fellow salmon farmer SalmoNor from Norwegian aquaculture group NTS on Wednesday, paving the way for SalMar's ultimate acquisition of NTS.

The announcement is a formality, given Monday's news that SalMar is carrying out the NTS acquisition as previously announced.

What is happening now is that NRS Farming will buy SalmoNor from NTS, and the two companies will merge. SalMar will then take over all of NTS, and merge with Norway Royal Salmon.
