The CEO of Icelandic salmon farmer Ice Fish Farm, Gudmundur Gislason, is resigning from his current role, but will stay on at the company to further focus on developing its sales strategy, Ice Fish Farm announced in a statement on Sunday.

Gislason has headed Ice Fish Farm since 2012.

"Being CEO for Ice Fish has been an incredible journey together with great colleagues in high growth rate and the establishment of a new and sustainable industry in Iceland over the past 12 years," said Gislason.
