Leroy Seafood Group increased its harvest volumes 7.2 percent in the first quarter of 2021, reaching a total volume of 42,200 metric tons of salmon and trout, it said in a trading update on Monday.

This is the second consecutive year the group’s volumes have increased in the first quarter. Harvests from the group's farming division also increased 22 percent in the first quarter last year to 39,377 metric tons.

In the first quarter of this year, the group harvested 9,000 metric tons from Leroy Aurora, which was a rise of 6 percent; 16,500 metric tons from Leroy Midt, up 14 percent; and 16,700 from Leroy Sjotroll, up 2.5 percent.
