Oslo-listed Leroy Seafood launched Leroy Salmon on Jan. 20, a brand certified with STP86 Salmo Salar provided by international accredited registrar and classification society DNV GL.

Salmon produced under STP86 has a higher content of omega-3 compared to the Norwegian industry standard, zero antibiotic usage, zero escapes and full traceability, said Leroy in a press release.

The company's entire value chain from feed to finished product will be audited annually, making sure all requirements are met.
