Norwegian land-based salmon farming startup EcoFishCircle has completed its first harvest, and now expects to push forward with plans for a commercial scale facility.

In April 4,000 smolt were released at the company's pilot facility in Lyngdal, Norway. In order to control the density of the biomass, 1,000 fish were harvested in November ago and a further 1,500 were harvested this month, EcoFishCircle CEO Jarle Dragvik told Intrafish.
