Norwegian land-based salmon farmer Salmon Evolution is seeing increased fish deaths at its recirculating system farm in Indre Haroy, Norway.

The company said Friday it is planning to begin harvesting its second batch of salmon, with a target of completing the harvest by the end of the second quarter.

Last month, the company said it would begin harvesting in early May, and touted a low mortality rate of 2.2 percent.
