The global spike in land-based salmon farming projects has grabbed investor attention, but among all of the newcomers there are some players operating below the radar, having chosen to quietly, carefully scale.

Among them is Lostalla-based Swisslachs, a group founded in 2016, which has carefully grown to commercial production at its facility based in Switzerland's Grisons region.
