Norwegian land-based producer Salmon Evolution successfully completed its first harvest of fish on Nov. 7.
The process started on Nov. 3 when approximately 30,000 salmon were transferred from Indre Haroy to Salmon Evolution's nearby processing partner Vikenco, where the fish were placed in a holding cage over the weekend.
The rest of this first batch of fish is scheduled to be harvested during the fourth quarter.
