Japan land-based salmon farmer Proximar names Nutreco veteran to board, aims for first harvest in 2024

With the company's shares performing well on the stock exchange, investors appear to like where the project is headed.

Proximar said its hatchery will be completed in the third quarter of this year and work on building the grow-out systems will begin in April. The land-based salmon farmer also announced Nutreco's Viggo Halseth joined its board of directors.
