Norway-based semi-closed containment equipment supplier Fishglobe is worried about what the new Norwegian aquaculture tax will mean for the supplier industry.

The Norwegian government's first announcement of the tax last September had a direct and immediate impact on Fishglobe.

"I don't think many of the supply companies will be around in two years."

At the time, Fishglobe was in the process of entering into a NOK 200 million (€17 million/$18.3 million) contract.

Construction related to the deal was planned to start in October, and around 40 staff were on stand-by to start the build.
