The recently renamed Icelandic land-based salmon farmer First Water is heading towards a stock exchange listing in 2025.

"We plan to list the company on Nasdaq OMX Iceland, but the Oslo stock exchange is also a possibility," First Water CEO Eggert Kristofersson told IntraFish.

"The First Water project is the largest private investment in Iceland's history, so further private placement will be difficult in Iceland, and a listing would give us better reach to more investors overseas," Kristofersson told IntraFish on the rationale to go public.
