Australian salmon farmer Huon saw successes and setbacks in 2020. In November it launched a new frozen line of salmon fillets in Woolworths stores nationwide in response to increased demand for frozen food as a result of pandemic lockdowns. It is the first time Huon-branded frozen product has been widely available in a supermarket.

But in December, the company also dealt with two major fish escapes from its operations.
