French retailer Leclerc is recalling products from its "Ronde des Mers" salmon line from stores accross France following the detection of listeria in several batches.

The Norwegian-produced salmon, which went on sale on the retailer's self-service shelves on Sept. 19, was sourced from LeClerc's own private label division, Scamark.

Consumers are being warned not to consume salmon, which was smoked in France, from the 210-gram packs and to return them to stores for a refund.
