Helge Gaso's new company, Froya Laks, has entered into an agreement with Norwegian salmon farmer Masoval for the operation of a 2,433-metric-ton salmon farming license.

Froya Laks is a collaboration between Froy Kapital and BEWI Invest, which bought the 2,433 metric ton license in a state auction in 2022.

Former NTS owner Helge Gaso established Froy Kapital last summer summer together with former salmon industry top executives Harry Boe and Klaus Hatlebrekke.

The company has working capital of NOK 6 billion (€600 million/500 million), of which Gaso contributed NOK 5 billion (€500 million/$500 million).
