A vote to decide the future of embattled Chilean salmon farmer Nova Austral has been postponed for a fifth time.

The vote is now scheduled to take place Nov 21.

In the wake of a fourth postponement of the vote, the company hastily put together alternative proposals after key creditors made it clear they would not support the initial restructuring plan.

However, the deadlock could not be broken, and creditors wanted more time to consider their options.
