BluGlacier, the US joint venture formed in 2016 by Chilean salmon producers Blumar and Ventisqueros, has appointed Chris Sandagato as sales director for its premium brands.
Charlotte, North Carolina-based Sandagato joins BluGlacier from Royal Greenland.

He will be responsible for sales of the company's Laguna Blanca Salmon and Silverside Coho brands.
Prior to joining Royal Greenland, Sandagato was regional sales manager at Verlasso Salmon.
As part of his wide seafood industry experience, Sandagato also worked for Santa Monica Seafood and Open Blue Sea Farms.
