Bill to revamp Iceland's aquaculture sector moves ahead

The bill proposes a new comprehensive law on marine aquaculture, land-based farming and marine farming.

The aim of the bill is to create conditions for aquaculture in Iceland whereby the industry can create increased value in a sustainable way, Iceland's Minister of Food Svandis Svavarsdottir said.
