Land-based salmon producer Atlantic Sapphire said Tuesday it plans to plow a DKK 180 million ($25.5 million/€24.1 million) insurance settlement from its burned down Danish site into its Miami "Bluehouse" farming facility.

An announcement has been long awaited since a blaze at the smaller Danish site last September.

Fire ripped through Atlantic Sapphire's Danish land-based salmon farming facility, and while no injuries were reported, the site was rendered completely useless for salmon production..
