Finnish seafood processor Kalaneuvos has invested €28 million ($30.8 million) to double its production capacity for smoked fish.
The expansion makes the facility the largest of its kind in the Nordic region, with more than 11,000 square meters of factory space with the aim of smoking 10,000 metric tons of fillets a year, according to CEO Veijo Hukkanen.
