Sixty North Seafoods, a Copper River fishermen-owned seafood buyer and processing facility, announced Monday it is open for the Prince William Sounds and Copper River salmon season.
The company was founded by Copper River salmon fishermen Rich Wheeler, Sena Wheeler, and John D. Wiese. The three each grew up in multi-generational commercial fishing families and have been selling their own harvests direct to consumers for years.
