Russian Fishery Company, one of the country’s largest producers of wild whitefish, in collaboration with the processor Agama Group, is nearing the end of the construction of a new onshore processing plant, Russian Cod, in Murmansk.

The company will process Atlantic cod and other whitefish species at the new plant.

Currently, the main equipment installation is underway, and is expected to be put into operation in September. The equipment includes a new robotic line for cutting cod fillets from Icelandic machine provider Marel.
