Ocean Beauty Seafoods' salmon processing plant and related buildings in Petersburg, Alaska, are for sale for $3.4 million (€3 million), reports KFSK.
The property is listed with the Carlton Smith Company, a commercial real estate company in Juneau.
In August this year, Ocean Beauty president and CEO Mark Palmer informed the Petersburg borough the company would be permanently closing the facility.
The processor has invested money in its Excursion Inlet plant, about 40 miles west of Juneau, and is focusing more on fresh and frozen processing instead of canning fish.
