Ocean Beauty Seafoods has finally found a buyer for its salmon processing plant in Petersburg, Alaska.

Ocean Beauty’s CFO Tony Ross told Alaska-based news site KFSK Thursday the company has accepted an offer for its waterfront processing plant but he would not say who the buyer is or the timeline for completing the sale.

According to Carlton Smith Company, the real estate agency advertising the property, Ocean Beauty priced the processing plant at $1.2 million (€1.1 million).

KFSK reported a bunkhouse building owned by Ocean Beauty is still for sale, with an asking price of nearly $1.3 million (€1.2 million).

The cannery, one of two in the community, has not operated since 2016. It was also closed in 2010 and in 2012.
