The Netherlands-based fishing company Quotter on Friday acquired full control of Dutch fish processor NorthSeafood, the company said.

John Schenk, until now owner of NorthSeafood, sold his package of shares to Quotter in a “strategic cooperation that will strengthen the position of NorthSeafood in the markets,” the company said in a statement.

The acquisition ends the shareholding of the Schenk family in the frozen fish processor, and both John and Lubbert Schenk, who have had executive roles at the company, will leave the firm.
