There's a new cold storage facility coming to Tacoma, Washington, and Seattle-based Trident Seafoods will be one of its first seafood customers.
NewCold and Fisher Construction Group have broken ground on NewCold’s Tacoma Automated Coldstore, located in proximity to the Port of Tacoma and Interstate 5, the major north-south highway along the west coast of the United States.
The coldstore will use state-of-the-art technology including automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) to automatically move and store products in sub-zero temperatures in the high-bay warehouse.
