AIRFREIGHT shippers wanting to get seafood to and from China will have a new choice of carrier next year: EA (Europe Asia) Airlines, a joint venture between Air France-KLM and China Southern.
The joint venture airline, which is still waiting for approval by CAA China, has ordered six of the new B777 freighters, the first three to be based in Paris and the second three in China. In addition, two B747Fs and 2-4 A300Fs will be
allocated to the joint venture from the existing fleet.
