Salmon farming and processing giant Mowi is getting more ambitious with its chilled skinpack operations as the US market shows a fast-growing appetite for the product across the nation.

"I have to say the US is very good at the moment, and has grown in speed beyond what we could have dreamed,” Mowi COO of Sales and Marketing Ola Brattvoll told IntraFish at last week's Seafood Expo Global in Brussels. “Skinpack has been an incredible success. It was a surprise how much it sparked demand.”
