Mowi’s Consumer Products division -- the value-added processing (VAP) arm of the company formerly known as Marine Harvest -- is expanding its operations in Turkey to provide processed salmon products to a larger part of the Turkish domestic market.
Mowi's processing division is already spread across Europe, Asia and the United States.
In Europe, volumes of fresh products increased year on year in the fourth quarter of 2018, while volumes for chilled items were stable.
Developments were particularly positive in the United Kingdom, Benelux and Eastern and Southern Europe, said the company.
