A NEW pinboner, claimed to produce higher yield with higher capacity, has been launched.

Uni-Food Technic’s (UFT) new generation model 350 quadro-round pinbone machine has four lanes and is also said to be easy to clean and service.

Much of the underside of the machine is constructed in round steel, and this is one feature that makes it very easy to clean, UFT’s Nina Munkholm Collet Jensen tells Seafood Processor. The new pinboner, which can be used to automatically extract the pinbones from smoked as well as fresh salmon and trout fillets, has a capacity of up to 46 fillets per minute.
