A fire broke out at the Five Star Fish factory in Grimsby overnight on Thursday, with firefighters bringing it under control after 2.5 hours, reports The Grimsby Telegraph.

The fire started in one of the outbuildings next to a large oil tank.

Humberside Fire and Rescue was called to the incident at around 11:50 pm local time and the fire was under control by 2:12 am, with fire crews leaving the scene 30 minutes later. The fire was deemed to have been started accidentally.

"We sent two appliances to the scene, who then requested further assistance of another pump and aerial appliance," said a spokesperson for Humberside Fire and Rescue.
