Embattled former Bumble Bee CEO Chris Lischewski's continues to dispute the appropriateness of evidence the the US Department of Justice (DOJ) is planning to use for a criminal trial over the extent of his involvement in price-fixing tuna in the US market.
A series of email, say the DOJ, provided evidence that allegedly reveal Lischewski's role in working with other canned tuna giants in selling fish caught using fish aggregating devices or FADs
In a series of emails from January -February of 2012 the companies had discussions about sourcing tuna from FAD-free fisheries.
