Guy Dean is bringing his more than two decades of seafood industry experience to his new role as president and general manger of Organic Ocean, a Richmond, British Columbia-based seafood supplier.
In April, Dean resigned from his position as vice president and chief sustainability at Albion Farms and Fisheries after 13 years with the British Columbia-based supplier.
On Wednesday, he starts work at Organic Ocean, where he plans to help the company accelerate its growth.
Admittedly, Organic Ocean with its 12 employees is a much smaller operation than the one Dean was familiar with at Albion, but the company offers an intriguing model -- one, Dean said, he has been watching from afar with interest.
